DANKO JONES: Ontario Shows Cancelled

May 15, 2008

Canadian rock trio DANKO JONES has cancelled three shows in Ontario, Canada (Waterloo, Hamilton and Toronto) which were scheduled to take place later this month. According to the band, "Danko [the group's frontman/namesake] has been suffering from a upper respiratory tract infection, and in light of the dates the band is in the middle of completing, the tough decision was made to cancel the three dates so that Danko could get the proper rest and recover. We apologize for the cancellations but look forward to seeing you in the near future."

The affected shows are as follows:

May 21 - The Starlight Room - Waterloo, Ontario
May 22 - The Casbah - Hamilton, Ontario
May 23 - The Sound Academy - Toronto, Ontario

Hardsound TV's interview Danko Jones conducted prior to the band's April 20, 2008 concert at Santiago Alquimista in Lisbon, Portugal can be viewed below.

DANKO JONES will embark on a UK tour alongside MOTRHEAD in November.

"Never Too Loud", the band's fifth studio album, was released in Canada on March 18.
